How Do I Post To A Moderated Group


Q. How do I post to a moderated Group?

A. Some Group email lists, often newsletter style Groups or the official news Group set automatically when you join the Community Network, are intended only to serve as ways of sending email messages to Group members. Only the Group moderators (usually administrators or their designates) may send out messages, so that Members do not get overwhelmed with messages to Groups.

If you are not the moderator of a Group and feel you should be, visit the Group Home Page and click the "moderator" email link, and ask the current moderator(s) if you can join them.

If you have official news, but are not the moderator of the pertinent Group, you can send the message to moderator, and he or she will send it along for you, or let you know another venue for sharing the information, if appropriate.
